1. What is the Safety & Security Expo about?
Bringing together the latest relevant information, coolest gadgets, and best tools in one place. You have the opportunity to talk directly to security providers, neighbourhood watch groups, the South African Police, community groups, public authorities & more to get involved, be informed & create the safest homes & communities possible.
2. Where will it be held?
This year (2013), it will be at Tygerberg High School.
3. When is the Expo?
On 30th November 2013.
4. I am a security provider. Can I participate in the Expo?
Contact us via our Contact page & provide us with your details. If there are slots left, we'll inform you of the requirements for being part of the Expo.
5. How much does it cost to attend the Expo?
To visit the Expo as a member of the public is FREE of charge.
6. How much does it cost to host a stand or display my product at the Expo?
We will charge a very small fee for listing your company on the website & the space at the event. It is not our aim to make a profit, but rather to provide a public service, and therefore the cost is very low. We do, however, need to cover basic expenses - to inquire about the service charge, please e-mail us using the Contact form.
7. What kind of attractions will there be at the Expo?
Apart from the security & safety information booths, you can expect entertainment in the form of music, children's activities, emergency & safety displays, talks, and more. Keep watching our website & social media pages for updated information on the entertainment at the event.
8. What are the School Competitions about?
The Expo will be host to a fantastic security-related invention & art competition for scholars in Cape Town. For 2013, only a small number of schools in the local community will be offered the opportunity to enter. But it is intended that in upcoming years, this competition will open up to schools throughout Cape Town! For now, please send us an e-mail using the Contact Form to inquire about the Competition.
9. Will this event be relevant to me, no matter which neighbourhood I live in?
Absolutely! Safety & Security efforts in Cape Town & South Africa, while affected by differing circumstances, are essentially similarly applicable to all of us. Whether you live in a small gated community, large township, seaside resort or lone smallholding. There are so many ways to ensure that your home & family are as safe as possible. And they don't all involve spending lots of money! So come and visit the Expo & find out what you could be doing to improve your family's safety.

11. What happens to any money raised at the Expo?
All profits will go to supporting the coming Expo & to a chosen charity. This year's charity will be listed soon on our social media pages & this website, so keep your eye on us here.
